 JRNI is looking for a talented Senior Ruby Developer to improve and expand our industry-leasing solutions.

What you’ll do:
● Participate in the development process of a high-scale, cloud-based, B2B
software-as-a-service platform that serves some of the world’s leading enterprises, financial institutions and governments.
● Play a key role in development, agile development processes, unit testing, code reviews and ensuring our product is of the highest quality.
● Support day to day workflow QA, as well as innovation and new features.
● Communicate with product managers, QA and automation, support and operations to solve, improve, test and optimise various functional and non-functional aspects of the platform.
● Participate in integrating with cloud technologies, modernising system architecture
and introducing new UI frameworks.

Required qualifications and experience:
● 4+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails development experience.
● 3+ years of commercial experience working with relational databases.
● Experience working with and developing web REST APIs.
● Experience working with AWS.
● 4+ years of experience working with agile development methodologies - SCRUM or Kanban.
● Experience with TDD (Rspec) in agile environment.
● Experience working with git-based source control and Gitflow based development.
● Proficiency in English language in both spoken and written communication.
● Experience working with colleagues from multiple departments including
non-technical teams.

Desired Skills:
● Familiarity with analytics / reporting concepts and data processing.
● Familiarity with a JS-based frontend framework such as ReactJS, VueJS or Angular.
● Familiarity with JS backend applications.
● Experience working on SaaS enterprise solutions.
● Experience working serverless computing platform such as AWS Lambda.
● Experience with Elasticsearch.
